Jamie Opalchuk

Jamie has been in technology for more than three decades. He began his career in the telecom and software industries. The companies he has founded have been ranked on the Globe and Mail’s annual list of Canada’s fastest-growing companies (formerly the Profit Magazine ranking) sixteen times — ten of those rankings for HostPapa alone.

Jamie founded HostPapa in 2007. Today it is one of Canada’s largest independent web hosting and cloud services providers, with 800+ team members and 1,000,000+ SMB customers worldwide. The company operates across AI, hosting, cloud infrastructure, productivity tools, security, and partner-channel services through a suite of brands including HostPapa, Hostopia, ColoCrossing, and CloudBlue. Under Jamie’s leadership, HostPapa has built one of the most active M&A programs in independent hosting, with more than 25 acquisitions since 2019 — most notably the 2023 carve-out of Deluxe Corporation’s web hosting and logo design business (NYSE: DLX) and the 2025 carve-out of CloudBlue from Ingram Micro (NYSE: INGM).

Jamie founded OnePlan Business Centers in 2015. Based in Burlington, Ontario, OnePlan provides flexible office space, private offices, virtual office services, and on-demand meeting rooms to small businesses and professionals across the Greater Toronto Area.
